The Ventur™ case was designed to engage and delight users in their command of basic (and not so basic) computer modeling and programming, providing ready interaction with Arduino® microcontrollers and Raspberry Pi® microcomputers.

Today’s microdevices are compact and inexpensive – built to inspire skilled and novice users, alike – yet they struggle to engage inexpert minds with their sharp corners and visible nodes. In response to the physical limits of Arduino® and Raspberry Pi® hardware, we developed Ventur™.

Hosting eight programmable buttons, each with a range of light and sound capabilities, the Ventur™ case invites programmers to personalize their microdevice experience, whether working on a complex multi-sensor project or learning the bounds of computing for the first time. 

interaction | ease

The case includes pin headers and a color-coded ribbon cable harness to readily connect to the on-board buttons and the device I/O pins, providing immediate interactivity and relieving extra circuit-building work to the benefit of new users and educators.
